Medical Claims Analyst

MUST HAVE!  MINIMUM 1 YR. EXP. CLAIMS PROCESSING, OR 1 YR. EXP. WITH THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR

Primary job duty is to accurately and timely process medical, dental & vision claims and adjustments.   Other responsibilities include: researching pre-existing, coordination of benefits, subrogation, refunds, worker’s compensation issues, etc…, assisting customer service reps with phone calls, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

MINIMUM 1 YR. EXP. CLAIMS PROCESSING, OR 1 YR. EXP. WITH THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR, OR 1 YR. EXP. WITH HEALTH INSURANCE CO.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Knowledge of medical terminology, benefit structures & appropriate coding

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Mon. – Fri.  8am-5pm
Compensation based on experience…mid $20K – mid $30K
